The Highs And Lows Of In-Situ Hybridisation Data Interpretation Of In-Situ Hybridisation

Kate Martin is Head of the Regional Cytogenetics Laboratory based at the City Hospital Campus of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.  She trained in the West Midlands Laboratory and moved to the Nottingham Laboratory in 1990.  She has extensive experience of F.I.S.H. since its introduction into the diagnostic service in the early 1990’s.

Adele Calvert graduated from Sheffield University in 1982 with a Special Honours degree in Genetics. She working in Cytogenetics as a scientist in Nottingham in the same year and is now the Head of Section  for Malignancy in the Cytogenetics Department in Nottingham University Hospitals, based at the City Hospital Campus. Adele has a special interest in acquired chromosome and FISH abnormalities of leukaemia and solid tumours.
